The Code of Hammurabi

The Code of Hammurabi is a well-preserved Babylonian code of law of ancient Mesopotamia, dated back to about 1754 BC. It is one of the oldest deciphered writings of significant length in the world.
My question about you guys is.
If one kills a for example your mother would you be even if you kill his mom ?
Would such a thing satisfy your inner spirit if you do it ?
Please Google the The Code of Hammurabi if you need more information about this old writing on a peace of 3 meter stone. I am not writing it here because a lot of people know the Hammurabi Code.
