Good and evil, my thoughts

The Asian philosophy of the yin and yang eloquently explains the relationship between good and evil.

In order for something to exist in the “real world” it must exist in a plane which supports multiple different dimensions of energy, spirit, matter, light, vibration, etc..

Interactions with other people and past experiences cause us to start experiencing reality in a comparable way. You stop experiencing what is really happening and start imagining things. In relative terms.

Good and evil are not absolute
They are relative

A simple example of this is:
Someone tried to kidnap your kid, and you beat them up.

You beating them up isn’t considered bad behavior, even though in absence of the kidnapping it would be.

Good is relative to evil and evil relative to good.

Many people make the mistake of being only good.
And others make the mistake of only being evil.

The truth is we are both, in one body. And you choose when to be kind, and when not to.

What you believe is the key to yourself. And your relationship with god can be greatly improved by reading the Bible. There you will find instructions and a very eloquent guide on how to be in a variety of situations.

I used to judge others pretty harshly. Due to my own understanding or lack of knowledge.

When we are alive we want to feel more and more. It’s a driving force that leads us astray.

Or sometimes we want to feel less.
The key point here is, you decide what happens.

good and evil…

What is evil can be good and what is good can be evil

Water can be ice and even steam
You can’t drink steam or ice but it’s still water

You literally cannot have good energy without bad. They are polar opposites like two sides of the same coin.

In the Bible it refers to the tree of knowledge of good and evil. There wasn’t a tree of evil. And a second tree of good.

I used to judge religious persons with scrutiny. My ambition and understanding and desire for knowledge lead me to a place of understanding.

But before I got to this point, I was subject to hate.
What we do not understand, secretly we hate.
Curiosity is a great way to learn. But topics as complicated as good and evil coupled with the conflict present in the world and my life tempted me to have a destructive stance on the matter.

A fool who persists in their stupidity will eventually become wise

I think that’s why god doesn’t throw lightning bolts at people daily. Because he knows eventually even they will come around.

My understanding was small but my intentions weee great. And I was willing to find out the truth.

The process of loving god involves accepting a way to allowing the energy of both and evil to exist in a harmonious and beneficial way. That means neither embracing evil or striving to be good. Embracing evil is destructive. And striving to do good with little understanding is admirable yet often leads to failure.

Don’t be surprised if you are not feeling good while you are on the path to understanding and failing daily.

If you try to be good you almost always fail. But one day you don’t fail. So if your hurting embrace the future for one day you will find success.

Trees are neither good nor evil. Sometimes they bear fruits and sometimes they don’t. But even fruitless trees can give flowers. Water them long enough and feed them well and even maybe fruit one day.

There are special trees some more holy than others. But that’s a different perspective.

All good people have a dash of something not good. And all evil people have a dash of something nice.

The truth is you can’t be anything other than what you are. And what you are is something that will be an eternal mystery.

If you try to be something you are making an effort and causing stress. So we say good to everything and let it all be. Isn’t that what Jesus did? The happiest people on the planet subscribe to this philosophy.

If you create a rift between good and evil and striving for a resolution you enter into an eternal conflict. You can not remove evil from good. Or good from evil. I say this not to influence you to be evil or to promote you to be good.

I say this to point out that good and evil are relative. Not absolute.

It’s important to note, being kind to others is not a virtue of good. Rather it’s something we should all be. Even if you are evil, you should be kind others. And by being so you become good.

You see what just happened?

God said you shall not kill. But if you do it to defend something good, it’s not considered evil.

Likewise if you help someone to buy a house but do it at 17% interest it’s not exactly considered a good deed.

This is to say, you can’t have ignorance without clarity. Even the stupidest person is a bit wise. And even the wisest person at times makes a stupid mistake.

You can’t have evils without good. You can’t have life without death.

Honestly this is all a bit confusing. I imagine it’s different in practice than theory.

But don’t you first have to destroy something in order to create something? Without building materials how can you build.

If you have money, didn’t it come out of someone’s pocket?

If you give compliments, won’t you also eventually give criticisms?

My understanding is that yin and yang is a portrait painted in honor of this philosophy. Through various practices and principles one can promote the two energies or body’s being is complete harmony. Rather than creating a conflict between the two.

When you create a conflict you say, this isn’t good enough and that promotes doubt and hate.

When you say everything is ok, we still love you. This creates love and joy.

Good luck to you in path to harmony.

So doing something evil never makes you better off. And mixing salt water with pure water is still salty.

If you hurt someone then do something nice in return aren’t they still hurt? Better to always show kindness but eventually you will hurt someone. No matter how hard you try.

But even some minute amount of salt exists within good natural spring water. Doesn’t it?

So the like can be said that you cannot take all the salt out of water to make it better. Some salt is supposed to be there. Isn’t it?

In the Bible it said even god get jealous at times.

Everyone is creating reality. Everyone has a different relationship with god.

God is different with everyone.

I don’t think I’m expert at understanding all of this but it sure is fun to write about.

But how can you say I love god and hate nature?

If you want to understand god, ask god to teach you.

A lot of people get hung up on the troubles of life and ask,

How can god be kind and loving if he lets such bad things happen??? Like death.

If I created a perfect car, a perfect road, and the most kind police. With traffic lights on every block.

Wouldn’t people still get into accidents?

Was that my fault?

Trust god for a better life. Don’t hate god for having a sprinkle of salt.

It’s all very confusing

But even the most evil people deserve a little love, kindness, and good.

And even the most kind, may get into some trouble.

It’s your understanding and your attitude
Which leads to your actions

And your actions have an effect on others

Your actions are being judged by others

And everyone’s understanding is relative to the time, what they expected, experience, and even what they learned.

God like a good parent promotes our well-being and supports our understanding and activities.

Never judging harshly. Always giving us tools and understanding. Always guiding us to better and better places.

God didn’t create evil to hurt people. He created good to love and help them. But with good comes evil.

Like if you make a knife to make cooking easier. Cutting vegetables easily. It’s not god’s intention for someone to turn this knife into a weapon.

It’s up to us to help them. Jesus said do it with love.

Thanks for opening a dialog on this. Let me consider what you are presenting here and get back with you after a little while.

Sure. Thanks for taking the time.

Alright

You are absolutely right. Just as there can be no life without death, the world cannot go on without the will of God. Everything happens according to the will of God. We must obey God.

If god is all powerful then we would have no choice but to obey his or her will. If we are supposed to obey then we will be obeying even while disobeying.

We all should learn enough about god, because he created us.

Nature is of itself. Who created the first seed or the first egg? It’s eternal meaning it has no begging and no end.

God created these all. There are all logical starting of everything, may be we can't discover them yet.

If nothing existed before god created it, how did god exist in order to create? And if god existed first then that means something else created god. Who?

When something started to happen it happened because the Creator wanted it to. There was nothing before the Creator. Everything started from his will. If you are not a believer, tell me, where did all this come from if there was no creator ??

You must start somewhere, and this starting point is the Creator. There was nothing before him. He was not born of anyone. Those who are not believers often use quantum physics to explain the needlessness of the Creator. But nowhere in this quantum physics is the Creator denied.

Science is not an eternal truth. So I don't think trying to understand spiritual matters with science will not always bring good results.

So if the creator came from nothing into this place why can’t we say I too sprang from nothing?

And if it happened once allowing the creator to exist why not happen again? Maybe we have multiple creators? Have you ever seen a field with one blade of grass? Or a forest with one tree?

Have you ever seen a one man building company? Maybe you have. I don’t know...

If everything comes from zero then how do you explain that process ???

Can you explain how you digest food? Or how your eyes work? How about the brain? We don’t need an explanation for it to work. It always works even when it doesnt

As humans, we need to be in sync with the creator.

If someone created us. Then who created the creator?

I don’t think it’s important to waste time and effort thinking about obeying some power hungry father figure like modern religion tricks us into believing. Be in sync with your inner self and you will find the kingdom of heaven.

I understand your point, but my question is that who created the kingdom of heaven?

Who created the first seed? Who knows?

Don’t waste your time trying to understand. You know it it is within you. It is of itself. It has no beginnings no ends. It is eternal.

You don’t need to know who makes your food. When it’s time to eat you eat it. You don’t need to know who made your car when it’s time to drive you drive. Same can be said about this creator.

Understood.

almighty allah created every thing

interesting information friend, to know God we have to study his word the bible. I hope you keep us posted on a variety of topics like this in the days to come. Thank you

If god was a tool then maybe he would come with a users manual. Or maybe that’s an old 2,000 year old outdated book.

Maybe gods instructions come inside you the same way you are born with a heart and instructions on how to beat your heart.

The wise teacher said, 50 years after I die, discard my teaching. Throw it in the ocean.

For we are subject to time. And time is subject to change. Good luck living in the past. We see how far you will get.

But the truth doesn't change, it cannot be tamed or changed, that's just the truth and doesn't matter in what time we live in. For example, you probably did eat today something, or maybe not, but one man can say you did eat for example some meal, someone other will say something other, but the truth is only one, they cannot be right both, you know, and after time that will not changed what you did eat today, because the truth is just changeless...That is in everywhere, including who did create this world and how...Not every opinion and theory can be true, isn't that?

And thank you for sharing.

@voidsoul In Vedic culture there are two schools of thought. One is impersonal and the other personal. By one's own mental ability it is possible to come to the point of realization of spirit and matter as distinct and yet one. That is the impersonal school.
The personal school of thought is realized by a mood of loving devotion. For that there are two. The lover and the beloved. Spirit is not dependent on matter. They are two distinct energies and there is no dissolving, much like oil and water mix but oil does not dissolve. In the spiritual energy there are forms, conscious beings, activities, etc. much like we see around us. But what we see and perceive is spiritual forms covered by matter. When the covering is removed the pure forms are there. There is no birth or death, but there are activities, entities. It is entirely different type of atmosphere. The spiritual world. We are presently experiencing the material world.
This is an illustration from Bhagavad Gita, as it is... (https://prabhupadabooks.com/bg/15/1) depicting how the spiritual entities become entangled in the material energy. yin and yang here can be seen in relationship to Divine female and Divine male. Or as they say Hare and Krishna.

If you want to know about Allah, then as a Muslim I would request you to read the surah of the Qur'an, just to know. I hope you like it as well as understand it ...

I believe that our relationship with Allah is that Allah created us. And we are creatures created by Him. And we are his servants. And we are always loyal to him ...

Thanks for sharing. You are only a servant of that’s what you want to be.

God is lord of the world. He instructed us, how we should spend our life and we should follow his instructions.

Can you prove to me that god wrote the Bible? If so please explain.

If not then it’s just your opinion. Don’t push gods will onto me. I have my own unique relationship with god.

If I have you instructions for something 2,000 years ago would a portion of it still be valid? Show me something that’s been around that long and has not changed.

If it’s a natural thing like a tree, I guarantee you it does not require a user manual

Everything has change but Allah/God knows everything what will happen in future. He gave us the every solutions of our problems. You can research Al-Quran to get answer of your questions.

The harder you look the less you see.
The quieter you are the more you hear.

If you want to know God, you have to follow the path given by God. God is in everything we do. Only if God wants us to know Him and reach out to Him.

Everyone makes their own path. Unless they think someone else should make it for them. Good luck being fulfilled letting someone else decide your fate. Even god.

I’m glad you can see god everywhere. Some people wouldn’t notice if he was staring them in the face.

Thanks for sharing.

You have the well philosophical knowledge.

It’s all around us. You just have to be open.
