Is their a mutual bias with the Gold/Silver and Crypto communites?

As good as that sounds and as long as they say it till their dying breath. it is not entirely possible to get rid of human emotion. Humans are emotional creatures. The way we interact with each other is highly sophisticated. The way technology is progressing. I bet tomorrow there will be a surge of people coming into precious metal backed crypto currencies. To me it is mind blowing someone wrote an article on here yesterday about how their will now be a "bitcoin silver" fork. I shake my head with the strictly gold and silver guys with that one. The forks I think would give the impression that Bitcoin as a currency can be compromised. I know crypto dudes it's better than the US fiat petrol dollar with a printing press yada yada yada then the crypto/silvergold people are like yeah.
I think right now in the space there is a pistol underneath the table with some conversations on Steemit for one, I guess youtube, and facebook are the three major places this goes on well, that and the real world. I know I've had conversations with the "old timers" they need absolute help finding how to look up their contacts on their phone. Mind blowing they cannot use a computer but do understand the concept of something precious and important. A rare item that only you have possession of. I guess that is the whole argument that I see being the point of most of the bias. Seems like theirs crypto guys shouting from the roof tops oh if shtf the last thing youlll worry about is money. ehhh good point and im not siding here people. but... the strictly gold/silver guys have a killer point with being able to physically hold something. being physically in possession of an item is the only way to liquidate it somewhere in case their was a gnarly emergency and we survived maybe a major terrorist attack, and/or natural disaster.
I was told one time things happen like you don't always die. I thought it was a brilliant look at things. For me. I have to buy bitcoin because its just part of these times. I dont even care if im rich or poor in crypto I just want to say yes Ive used it i had i know how to buy it and sell it and it works. And gold and silver. I want that too. In fact I have to have it. Pure .999 gold is gold. test it. lie about it. paint it, put it in a glass of water. if that coin you claim to be a troy ounce of gold is gold. Then the truth is it will be worth that. Isnt that magic? thats natures gift to us with math that literally tests our trust between each other!!!!! That;s exactly what bitcoin was built around. Validating transactions in diststrust! You know why? Because in life and the future. Our physical/mental/financial/ and social worlds on the internet will all blend together.
