Bangladesh Jewelers Association (BASJUS) has decided to reduce the maximum price of Taka 1,233 to the market price by reducing the price in the world market. This information was given in a press release on Monday.
It has been said that new gold prices will be implemented from Tuesday to the country's market. According to the press release, 11.664 grams per variant of 22 carat gold will be sold at 47 thousand 939, 21 carat gold of gold 45 thousand 723 and 18 carat gold will be sold at Tk 40, 474. Traditional methods will stand to be full of gold, 24 thousand 786.
Up to Monday, 22 carat gold worth 49 thousand 222 rupees, 21 carats 47 thousand 6 rupees, 18 carats 41 thousand 407 rupees and traditional vintage of gold is sold at 25 thousand 952 taka. As per the revision of the gold price, 22 and 21 carats will cost Tk 1,283, 18 carats 933 rupees and traditional method of gold is reduced by Tk 1,166. However, the price of silver will remain unchanged, it said. Currently, every full rupee is being sold at Tk. 1,550.
According to Buzus sources, 91.6 percent of 22 carats per year, 87 percent 5 percent in 21 carats, 75 percent pure gold in 18 carats. Wages and value added tax (VAT) will be added to the gold price to make jewelery.
