DI PAPUA

Di ujung sumatera kau ditempa dengan setitik pengalaman
Aral memanjang kau lewati dengan tabah
Mantra sakti di ujung salat didengar pemilik langit
Akhirnya kau diterima jadi pengabdi tanpa koma

Ransel kumuh berisi buku tua melekat erat di bahu kau mulai menata kisah
Malam itu, ketika burung kondor kembali ke sarang kau datang padaku
Semangat cita gegap gempita,
mohon izin untuk mengejar asa yang terlanjur tertoreh di buku saku
Ku lihat bulan seolah buram di matamu
Hatiku ngilu mengulum harapan

Aku tak mampu membedung angin memikul mendung yang menggulung
Sebelum kau ayun langkah ke negeri cendera wasih
aku menerka
betapa jiwamu tabah dalam membuka katupan bola mata para bocah bocah tertinggal

Tak pernah terbetik dalam angan tentang semangat baja,
ketika kau mendengar ocehan pengabdian saat di bangku kuliah
Niat suci membangun negeri di ujung timur telah menoreh cerita biru
Pengabdi negeri di ujung timur, digilir dua musim dalam masa panjang

Perjalanan menuju tugas kau tempuh berminggu minggu
Hutan berkelok kau susur dengan sepatu kusam
Puncak jaya wijaya kau daki dengan kaki bertelapak baja

Murid murid berseragam campuran mengiba ilmu bekal yang kau bawa
Diantara bangku kusam kau bak pahlawan pulang dari perang
Di antara ilalang menua kau buka.mata mereka tanpa pamrih

Wahai pengabdi tak bernomor induk dan sertifikasi
Kau terabaikan oleh zaman yang menggila
Kawan mu di negeri ini dengan sepatu mengkilap menyusur kisah
mereka menunggang kuda bernomor

kau pengabdi jujur meniti kariir di pucuk cendera wasih
Sabarlah dalam cita dan pengabdian
Biarla bulan dan matahari merekam cerita dan derita menderamu

Aral lengthwise you pass through steadfastly

That night, when the condor bird returns to the nest you come to me
The spirit of excitement,
please permit to pursue the despair that already tertoreh in the pocket book
I see the moon as blurry in your eyes
My heart aches hope

I can not afford to wind up winding up a rolling cloud
Before you swing your step into the land of sad flags
I guessed
how your soul is steadfast in opening the eyeballs of the boys left behind

Never dreamed of the spirit of steel,
when you hear the chatter of devotion while in college
The holy intention of building a country on the eastern end has incised a blue story
Servant of the country at the eastern end, rotated two seasons in the long run

The journey to work you've been on for weeks
The twisted forest you run with dull shoes
The peak of jaya wijaya you climbed with steel-tipped feet

Students in mixed uniforms arrive at the science of the supplies you carry
Among the dull bench you're the hero's back from the war
Among the old weeds you open. Their eyes are unconditional

O servant no parent number and certification
You are neglected by the crazy age
Your friends in this country with shiny shoes along the story
they rode a numbered horse

You are an honest devotee to pursue a career at the top of a sad banner
