So today I had a really nice experience

I've been a little down lately,

Didn't find a job for the summer anywhere, I have a couple of friends who are struggling and who I'm trying to help out as much as I am able to.

Today I was feeling a little extra down since the morning and didn't really start feeling any better until later in the evening. But I was still down somehow. It felt like I wasn't really myself.

In the evening I decided to just chill at home and watch a movie or something but at around 7 o' clock my friend calls me and asks me to come help him out with moving a couch out of their apartment. To clarify a little, my friend works fairly close to where I live so he picked me up on the way home from there. But he lives about an hour away, closer to the city so we had a short car ride ahead.

So when he arrives I go down to the car and notice that he has his girlfriend with him in the front seat so I go to sit in the back. When I open the car door I notice that they have both their dogs with them which I sadly hadn't seen for a very long time. I get in and they both immediately recognized me and where so happy to see me and just basically cuddling on me on the back seat. And I have to say this was so amazing. It changed my mood completely. I became so happy that they liked me since my friend said that they're a little new people shy.

The whole car ride was awesome and I had such a nice time just chilling with the dogs in the back. They really are incredible animals. They can change how you're feeling in a second. They are a boy and a girl. One's a Parson Russel Terrier and the other a Jack Russel Terrier.

This really got me thinking about maybe getting a dog some day soon. I've been wanting one for a long time but never really had the opportunity but now it's actually a good time for something like that!

I just wanted to share this little story just cause it pretty much brightened up my day :)
