A Google driverless car has collided with a commercial van, in what is thought to be the worst accident involving an autonomous vehicle yet.
On Friday, a Lexus outfitted with Google's autonomous driving technology was struck by a van that ran a red light in Mountain View, California.

This is not the first time a Google self-driving car has been involved in an accident.
