Ok, so imagine a Ford dealership being fined by the state, not because of what they are doing, but rather because of what they're not. In this case, they're being fined because they do not sell Dodge vehicles, which is their competitor. That is the essence of why the EU fined Google. Because Google showed results that favored Google, and not its competitors.
I actually feel like this is a sign of a shakedown. The EU is so broke that they try to shakedown a major company if only because they can. Why is Google obligated to provide access to its competitors and its products?
I'd love to hear what you have to say.
