“No Pipeline Bailout!” is the rallying cry in British Columbia. On May 29th, Canada’s Finance Minister announced the federal government would buy out Kinder Morgan’s troubled Trans Mountain Pipeline. Land and sea defenders are mobilizing across B.C., and today, May 31st 2018, they’ve manifested here in the provincial capital, Victoria.
The event was put together by the Salish Sea Organizing Collective in conjunction with several social justice and environmental organizations.
