One of the Holy Spirit's primary function on earth is to convict sinners of their sins and bring them to Christ. We see this done in Acts 2:37 where immediately the Holy Spirit came upon the disciples, He announced His arrival by doing exactly what Jesus said He will do- convicting 3000 people instantly to accept Jesus as their Lord.
Whereas many are interested in winning souls for Christ from every corner of the earth, others are more concerned about their close relatives and friends who are not yet believers. In both categories, we need to know that no amount of words or logic will be sufficient to bring these people to Christ. It is only the Holy Spirit who can give power to our words to convict them like He did for Peter in Acts 2:14-41.
However, we are co workers with Him(1 Corinthians 3:9) so in as much as we cannot do it all by ourselves, we also cannot leave it totally on Him to do it alone and hence it is necessary that we work together with Him to win souls for Christ.
LIFE APPLICATION
To be a disciple maker for Christ, you need to always implore the Spirits help whenever going to tell a brother about Jesus.
