What Should We Do With People Who Rely On Government Handouts...

Haha funny. What's funny is that, I know people who live by government handouts, no one in my circle of friends. In Quebec we have Bien-être Social and Chômage. Wellfare basically. Thing is, I don't work myself, I post on Steemit and I have a burnout. I refuse to go back to a slave job and I'm trying to monetise what I do that I love to do, what I create (videos, fiction, etc). I never applied for wellfare and for some strange reason, even with PTSD, I don't qualify. I don't want to know HOW to qualify. I much enjoy doing what I do and being busy than trying to work slave jobs one days a month so that I can get government handouts. I never understood the mentality, I was always of the mind set to do what I want, but not be lazy about it.

I know people who sit around, drinking and smoking all day, hating their lives, complaining. If they started being creative tomorrow morning and posting it here, they'd start being happy and say goodbye to government handouts.

I think it's the mentality, the brainwash from society and the ignorance about alternative means of living that make people reliant on government handouts. If we raise awareness, then more people can jump on the Blockchain bandwagon and less people will be depressed, less reliant, and doing more of what they love. They rely on handouts because, like me, they don'T want to work a slave job, they feel trapped and UNlike me, they stay trapped and just haven't found the way out of the slave system yet.
