We don't need to make everyone think that the state lies about EVERYTHING to have liberty.

One of the most damaging and ridiculous libertarian quotes is, "government lies about everything"

People who regurgitate this liberty groupthink nonsense are really liars themselves. When a government teacher says, "2+2=4" that's not a lie, the government teacher is telling the truth. When government officials admit to gravity, that's not a lie, that is the truth.

The state would have literally zero statist supporters if it lied about everything. Instead the state tells the truth about basic things, in hopes that it can build trust so that when it sells any form of tyranny it is believed. Believing that an institution can literally lie 100% about everything and still keep billions of supporters is lunacy and delusion.

Nietzsche was wrong about this and so are all people who follow this groupthink nonsense. The reality is the state lures people into trusting it with basic truths, and then sells the whoppers when it wants to expand it's scope and power.

Using quotes like, "everything the state says is a lie" makes you look like a shallow, unhinged person who can't be trusted and harms liberty.

The truth is already damning enough, no need to lower yourself to a liar's level when the truth is already bad enough. Sheesh
