By the way: Is this in Venice Beach? I swear this is near Navy street, right by the beach, off of Main St. or Neilson Way.
If it's even still called Neilson Way at this point.
Neilson Way has to be the most infuriating street on the West Side.
It's start off being called Ocean Park Blvd. Then once you pass the Santa Monica Pier, for no apparent reason, it decides to rename itself Neilson Way.
After following Neilson Way for a few blocks and right around when you cross into Venice, I believe it may change again!
Of all the roads I have traversed in my almost 30 years. . .

. . .of life on this Earth, this is the only one I recall that changes its name at random, without having to make any turns; and it does it more than once.
Well, I guess it does count for something that the first 20 of my almost 30 years were spent livin' out in the sticks of Pennsylvania.
I remember navigating by the light of the moon at night and putting bags of kitty litter & concrete in the trunk to weigh down the car for traction in the snow just to make it up a hill, (or to get your tire to stop spinning: Hence the kitty little mix) so. . .
Anyways, that was one of my side rants. Seriously though, was this photo taken near Venice Beach, by the Boardwalk?
