Starting on this simplistic USA Today article detailing invading arctic air, I personally feel the media are downplaying this event. They’re calling it “Barney” because there is so much purple on all these temperature maps indicating -40F temperatures in US midwest.
I’ve listed every links to all of all the articles and stories at the end of the article, so you can see all the charts because these may be the coldest temperatures that you will ever experience in your entire lifetime. Up to this point however, we are looking at possibly the coldest day in the history of the city of Chicago, Illinois. This place is always cold in winter, but this is a statement beyond statements. Temperature records in that city go way back to the late 1870s.
When you hear corporate media coming out using words such as “life threatening, dangerous and unprecedented”, you have to be prepared. Those daily records that are being broadcast are going to be shattered, so expect for tens of thousands of cold records to be smashed during this event.
These events are going to unfold and there are predictions of some wind chill temperatures in Minnesota in the neighborhood of -70 degrees Fahrenheit, below zero. The temperature is so extreme in many places, that the temperature monitoring stations can’t even pick up how cold will it get because digital thermometers pegs at about -33 degrees Fahrenheit.
Be aware that what the National Weather Service puts out in their forecasts as life threatening and historic wind chills are even lower, because the wind chills we are looking at are around some areas of the Great Lakes, and that will be pushing a temperature of 50 to 60 degrees below zero.
The updated models are shown in the image below. Let’s take a look at the storm track on the GFS model. That strange arctic vortex striation of white is centered over the Great Lakes and also across the southwest deserts is unusual dark red precipitation reflection.
As we move forward in time, you can actually see how this is going to dip into the U.S. Canada is used to this type of cold all the time, but the U.S power grid and its infrastructure are not used to these kinds of temperatures. This event will have an all-time draw on the grids and I would not be surprised if a grid goes down due too much demand when people try to heat their homes.
(BELOW) Notice that light green in the 850 millibar Temperature Anomaly Map, during winter storms that light pink there in the map would be a warning in itself but I’ve never seen those teal greens. Green striations like these have been rarely seen tracking across the continental US.
This will push further south down into the border of Virginia when this event reaches its coldest point on January 30th throughout the day. It reaches even far down into the southeast US. Alabama and Georgia would be looking at minimum temperatures of about 20 degrees Celsius below normal.
Note that this is not a Fahrenheit chart, not Celsius, which means it’s actually cooler. We’re looking at around 30 degrees Fahrenheit below normal temperatures, and if you look at its track, it drags along the periphery and comes through the southeast U.S.
The houses down there are not built for this type of storm, so I’m advising that you need emergency preparations, because I do believe that the power will be lost at least in one of these areas in the United States.
If you zoom in the Temperature Anomaly Map focusing on the Great Lakes, that teal green is rarely seen, except in the Arctic, and like I’ve been saying, this is not because of CO2, it’s because of the Intensification of the Grand Solar Minimum.
I’m going to widen that out further so you could see some of the wind chills. Temperatures there are -58 degrees Fahrenheit, -60 degrees Fahrenheit, and -64 degrees Fahrenheit below zero.
Moving out, these are going to be the wind chill temperatures in the Great Lakes region, the Midwest actually. We are still looking at –50 degrees Fahrenheit, -60 degrees Fahrenheit, and -40 degrees Fahrenheit, below zero. Off to the west that storm is going to continue its southward track, so some of these temperatures are literally going to be unprecedented in Virginia and Kentucky.
Somehow, looking at this map, I could see why Ryan Maue came out with the meme of Barney. This is a super freeze and a record-breaking winter storm event of all purple.
A look at apparent temperatures which includes the wind chill, they are looking at something like 51 degrees below zero at Chicago International. Flights are not going to be taking off during this time. To get an indication of how this storm is going to drop temperatures so quickly, Chicago International went from 6 degrees below zero, down to 51 degrees below zero, in 24 hours.
We’re also seeing the same thing in Minneapolis. The storm is real and these temperatures are unprecedented, but they do bottom out at around -50 degrees Fahrenheit. It stabilizes at 50 degrees Fahrenheit below zero and then the fronts will pass.
Brutal arctic cold is going to come for the rest of the week, and these surface temperatures are literally 35 degrees Fahrenheit to 55 degrees Fahrenheit below normal temperatures, that you’re used to.
Look at USA Today with this very simple graphic. They could have colored that a bit differently due to the urgency of the matter. They’re even trying to blend it, so you won’t see how extreme this storm is because in my opinion they need to keep the Global Warming narrative pushing full steam ahead. Seriously, the colors need to be very different. It must be an alert red, anywhere you see that dark purple.
With that being said, let me bring you into a more professional chart from weathermodels.com. You can see now how the low temperatures are going to extend all the way past Texas into southern Mexico sweeping through the Yucatan Peninsula. Florida is going to go down to freezing temperatures.
I was calling for iguanas to fall off the trees during a forecast a few days ago, for the same storm front.
This is how it’s going to roll out over the next five days with these extreme temperatures: the only places where water is not going to turn into ice on this map, are some places in coastal California and southern Florida, and if you’re in the Northeast, your skin is going to turn into ice.
Alternatively, we have here a different perspective from tropicaltidbits.com. While most of the weather models are always done in Celsius, in here, it’s in Fahrenheit temperatures.
Again, as you can see in the progression of this storm, you get a couple hours of warning, and then it just drops all of a sudden.
This event is so intense, that you literally have to be incredibly bundled up or you wouldn’t survive the outside temperature. You would have about five minutes to get inside before you get frostbite in these types of temperatures in 24 hours.
You have to think about what is happening in peoples’ houses in this particular instance, where temperatures are going down to 50 degrees Fahrenheit below zero. They’re going to draw an enormous amount of power for heating purposes alone. They might have to reroute from other states, but they cannot reroute power from Canada, because they’re experiencing the same thing. Canada is having an all-time record demand for power, thus they have no extra power to offer.
Anyway, the US grid is aged already and since the temperatures are going to be so cold, power lines are going to be grounding out. Those lines are not built as they are in Alaska where they have it insulated. Electricity usually follows the path of least resistance and there is a possibility that the lines are going to ground out through the cold air as electricity is transmitted from point A to point B, on those high tension lines. The sub-zero temperatures become the conduit.
You really have to consider emergency measures during this event. You may consider moving into the basement, but don’t think about moving into the basement after your power goes out in the middle of the night. The basements are going to be warmer because they’re insulated by the ground. I understand that temperatures of — 40 or -50 degrees Fahrenheit above ground is still going to be probably freezing inside the basement, but it’s going to be much warmer than upstairs in the rooms.
You’re not going to be able to survive in your homes the way you do now, you need to start preparing if you haven’t yet before this event hits. You need to have all of these things: flashlights, emergency candles and means to prepare your food. You’re not going to be able to use heating blankets or be able to charge anything if the power goes out, therefore you also need batteries. Don’t forget water, medicine and blankets too. You’ll be needing all of these things indoors. Again, the key is to be in a basement or a single room. It would still be a very difficult time surviving at these kind of temperatures in a room above ground, but it would be worse if you’re unprepared.
Like I said, the corporate media is downplaying this event. And while they do, the Southeast U.S is not ready for this almost zero degree Fahrenheit temperatures, because the houses there are not insulated for this. Remember that during the all-time power draw in the Southeast U.S last year, they were around one fifth of one eighth of an inch away from going down on the grids, and that was 20 degrees Fahrenheit warmer than this coming event.
But still, the media don’t want to talk about it. They’re still saying that this will be a temporary icy cold front where in fact, these are going to be the coldest temperatures that you’d experience in your entire lifetime! The corporate media keep on pushing the Global Warming narrative.
We are heading into this Grand Solar Minimum. The Sun’s intensity is declining and we’re going to repeat something that we haven’t seen in 400 years. Astrophysicists have already put out forecasts as to when the planet is going to start cooling, and it’s right now. The signs are in-your-face that his Grand Solar Minimum is intensifying, and from this point forward, these types of storms are going to become a normal occurrence.
The lines that you’re seeing in the graph below are the magnetic waves on the Sun. When they get to that widest point, they will be cancelling each other out. When this happens, the Sun’s activity state /solar output declines. They’ve also mapped out how quickly this is going to take place and in which solar cycles. Moreover, the wider the wave is, the colder our planet is going to get, and the more extreme the weather is going to become.
As the magnetosphere weakens the jet streams are allowed to go out of their flow. They’d be no longer locked in place, so they could move into places that they haven’t been into in hundreds of years. This is the reason why we’re seeing a lot of these weather extremes across the planet. This event is also, literally a cycle that occurs once in 400 years, and right now, we’re in it again.
Furthermore, the coloration we see in the graph above are great demarcations. We’ve just moved out of that yellow area of Solar Cycle 24 from 2015–2018, and we’re moving into that green shaded area in SC 25. As you can see, the intensity ramp-up is expected 2019 to 2021 and we’re supposed to have colder temperatures, more ferocious storms and shorter growing seasons. These forecasts are very serious, yet, somehow corporate media is still trying to push Global Warming, instead of talking about what is happening with our Sun and what’s going to happen to our society and civilization when our food prices triple and quadruple.
Meanwhile, the University of Maine’s Climate Reanalyzer is used in almost every single corporate mainstream media news article. It really is so quippy: “Only showing this map for one reason: All weather is local.” But I do want to compare this with Tropical Tidbits record, because Climate Reanalyzer has the hottest temperatures on the web. By the way, if you’re going to compare datasets, you can go to University of Alabama Huntsville, Dr. Roy Spencer’s site.
Like I’ve said, the mainstream media loves the Climate Reanalyzer data set because it shows the warmest temperatures. I put these two together because I really want you to delve into this chart. The Climate Reanalyzer model is the top image and the Tropical Tidbits model is under it. Notice how much cold Tropical Tidbits is showing, especially with the anomalies, compared to how homogeneous everything is in the Climate Reanalyzer models.
This is another reason why I think they’re really downplaying any cold events. You’d be asking questions like, “Why is it 50 degrees below zero outside, when we were told Global Warming would bring less severe winters?” And the explanation that somehow a pocket of warmer air displaced all of that cold down into the US, just doesn’t make any sense, because there’s not that much displaced atmosphere up in the Arctic.
This is indeed Grand Solar Minimum cold. In the 1600’s, people abandoned cities in Norway and Sweden. Populations dropped 90% in the cities because they couldn’t survive there. Their infrastructure couldn’t cope, they couldn’t get in supplies, the harbors and ports were frozen and they were completely locked off. We’re going to see the exact same thing if our grids go down continuously year after year because we can’t cope with the demand of electricity draw, due to these extreme cold events.
This Grand Solar Minimum cold is just a repeating cycle in history. Finally, case in point, if you think we had such extreme temperatures in the United States, the exact same things are about to happen over in Europe. Isn’t that coincidental. Two places on the planet are about to have the coldest temperatures ever recorded in at least three generations.
Corporate media has totally forgotten Europe and they’ve constantly been talking about the US. However, as these low temperatures are developing, Norway is going to feel the exact same thing as they had in Chicago.
