Grape Soda, Candy, and the Combination Thereof.

Grape soda always takes me back to my childhood as we would get cans of it in the summer time. While I do not find myself drinking it as much these days I do find that I am now very partial to grape soda candy. There is something so vibrant in the purple that immediately catches my eye and makes my stomach know that this will be the perfect snack. It's quite an accurate representation of the soda flavor as that does not taste exactly like grapes.... the only thing missing is the sweet refreshing zing of soda, which I think you could mimic with a pop rocks sort of crackly candy on the outside.... that would be a perfect soda candy.
