Hello students, It's a new week which promises to be fruitful, I want to believe we enjoyed the lesson dished out last week. It was actually our first pure practical and trust me I love the turn out.

I love the fact that many of my student are still keeping up with the energy level giving their all to be outstanding and I sincerely commend their effort. We still have 1 more lesson to go and you yourself can see you have evolved and improved so much in your knowledge about graphic design in the past few weeks. Your results are indeed mind-blowing.

Replicate the design above using the following guidelines below

a. You are free to use the same colour and typeface or any other you feel like using, just ensure you use a very good colour combination.

b. Briefly talk about the principle you engaged in your design.

c. Be as detailed as possible, this would be your leverage over others.

Top 5 Entries

I want to specially commend every student who took part in the homework task, I could tell from the entries that y'all did your best, I just could not hide the feeling of excitement that followed even as I took my time to review the entry of each and every one of you.

But you know we all cannot emerged as the top 5, I had to careful sieve out the top 5 out of the many outstanding post I had for the week. Trust me, it was such a sensitive task for me because everyone attempted it to the best of their ability.

However, here are some of these things that deprive some of the participants from making it to the top 5 are;

• Not being detailed enough.

• Some failed to utilize the knowledge they already have about colours..

• Some others got themselves in a fix along the way for using the wrong size/dimension for their design work.

• Some hastily rushed through the task and missed vital steps/information in their practicals.

• Not following instructions to the latter i.e sharing the principles of graphic design engaged and how it was engaged.

In spite of all these deficiency, I still ensured I encouraged each and everyone of them with a good grade just to tell how much I appreciate their effort because we all are on a journey to "becoming" and should be encouraged all the way.

Notwithstanding, we have 5 top entries out of the many beautiful entries that came in. These participants singled out themselves by ensuring they leveraged on the areas where many overlooked just as captured above to emerge as the top 5. Two of our last week winners featured again this week, they maintained their energy level which earned them a spot in the too 5.
