Replicate the design above. Let's see who comes close...smiles. "skillfully" spicing up your design is also welcome but ensure it doesn't become the reason your design ends up looking unappealing.

First of all I have choose the format of my design. I have selected 1080 x 1080 as it is the width and height of an Instagram post so I have selected it directly.

In the next step I have uploaded the picture given by the professor to use in my own design and the design prepared by the professor to pick colours from that design for the fonts.

Then I have selected the image to add it my design as you can see in the above screenshot.

In the next step I have adjusted the transparency of the picture to make it look fade. I have used transparency as 25 and I am sure it will match the design.

Then I have increased the size of the image. And now It is looking large on the design and it will facilitate the next design.

Then by following the design I have added a Text on the screen. It is very simple to add the text. Firstly I selected the Text and from the available options I selected Add a heading. It will add a bigger text.

Then I have changed the font style from default font to ANTON as you can see in the screenshot. There were other styles as well but I used this to match the design.

Then I increased the size of the text from default size to 230. After that in order to meet the colour requirement I have changed the colour of the text. I have chosen red colour from the default colours. You can see the colour has already changed on the screen. And I was feeling good as I was approaching the design. Each single step was pushing me towards the required design.

Then according to the design I headed towards the upload section. I needed to upload the image on the design. I selected the required image and in this way another step of my design was completed.

It took me a lot of time to adjust the picture as an upper layer on the previous fade picture. I sent the text to the backward. So that the design should look according to the required design. Almost the design is looking completed to me at this step. Just a few steps to reach the final design.

The as I needed to add another text as PION so I brought the previously added text to the forward screen and then I made a clone of this text and dragged it to the below position as shown in the screenshot.

Previously learnt colour picking tool really helped me to pick the cirrect colour from the image. I selected the text CHAM and in order to add a colour in it according to design I exported the ready made design on the current design. And after opening the colour picker I selected the text on the design by professor. And the colour picker automatically picked the colour from the design and it applied it on the current text. The hex code of this applied colour is #e1080a. You can see that now my text colour is similar according to the colour of the required design.

I did the same thing to choose the required colour for the text PION. You can see in the above screenshot. I got this #f1c306 colour hex code with the help of the colour picker. And currentlythis colour is applied. for the After the selection I deleted the ready made design from the current design and in this way I was able to add the correct colours by following the rules learnt in the previous lecture.

Here I again fixed the layers of all the texts and the picture. And now it was near the completion. It was shorting only one thing now. You can see the design was already looking beautiful. And it was all because of following the guidelines by the professor learnt in the previous lecture as well as my previous knowledge.

Here I have added the quote for the champions by the Billie Jean King. I made it bold so make it look more prominent and I used Montserrat font style. I set the size to 20.

Here I added the text	Here I rotated the text so that it become fit at the right side.

Design Principles which I used in The Design

I have used different design principles from start to end. Here is the detail of all the designs and principles which I used:

Proportion and Balance
First of all I used this proportion and balance principle of design. I added a blank page of 1080 x 1080 according to the design requirement. Then I uploaded the picture and at that time I used balance principle. I balanced the transparency of the picture to 25%. It maintained the visual representation.

Colour Harmony
I used colour harmony principle. I used colour picker tool to manage the colours according to the design. It helped me to add consistency and and harmony in the design layout.

Layering and Hierarchy
I used this principle as well while adjusting the text and the images on different layers. I sent the first text backward behind the second added image. I used different sizes for the different texts on the screen. I made the headings bold and used bigger size than the quote text.

Typography
I used Typography principle to make the design look more attractive and beautiful. I used ANTON for the bold and impactful text. And similarly I used Montserrat for the quote. It makes the different texts clear. And I rotated the watermark to add a contrast to the design.

Transparency and Depth
I used transparency and depth principle in the design. I adjusted the transparency of the image to use it as a background image. It helped me to make the image look fade and subtle. It adds depth to the design without disturbing the primary and main message.

Alignment and Spacing
I used alignment and spacing principle to align the test and images in a good way. This alignment helped me to keep the text and the images on the desired place. I used appropriate spaces between all the design elements.

Adaptation and Creativity:
In my whole design creation I worked on this principle. As I was assign a design from the professor and I needed to made that design. So I used my creativity to adapt the same design. I adjusted all the elements according to the required design.

So by using all the above principles I became able to complete the required design.
