MY MOST CHERISHED MOMENT ON STEEMIT SO FAR

Hello dear friends, I was so glad to come across this awesome contest by @emjoe, you can click HERE to join.

I have had embarrassing and annoying moments here on steemit, but let me forgive them and focus on the good.

MY MOST CHERISHED MOMENT ON STEEMIT.

It's actually my most cherished day,on the 26th of February 2018, a friend of mine @inspiredgideon1 told us in our group chat about @jerrybanfield's ongoing content (The Supernatural writing contest), which he partook in and encouraged us to also share our stories.

I went and was searching on jerrybanfield's blog because @inspiredgideon1 didn't drop any link so i had to source for it myself.

Fortunately for me, i stumbled into @gmichelbkk, i saw a post he made about the 10 amazing stories he had read and also encouraged those who hadn't made their entries to do so.

I read the criteria and decided to join, it was my first 1000 words post here on steemit.

A day after I had submitted my entry, i checked on @gmichelbkk blog to see if it has been added on the list of posts to be read.

I saw he had already commented and my post was added.

The next day was 28th of february, i wasn't feeling well that morning and i also had a meeting to attend.

I had to manage myself for the meeting, afterwards I decided to enter the market and pick some foodstuffs for the day.

Over there at the market I felt like falling down, my ill health was getting more serious. I just had to leave the market.

On getting home, i decided to lie down and rest a bit, then i picked up my phone to check my messages,just then got a message from @inspiredgideon1.

I quickly hurried to check and this was what i saw.

I screamed like i was crazy, i started dancing, my neighbors could hear me screaming and shouting it was a miracle, a breakthrough, i haven't made more than $5 since i joined steemit which was what i made from my introductory post.

Before that week i even had 4 posts i made which didn't even get any upvote, so you could imagine the level of joy I felt that moment.

My sickness left me and i was well and strong again, it was the best that happened to me that day.

Am still very grateful up to this day to @jerrybanfield for that opportunity, @gmichelbkk for reading and finding it reasonable and @inspiredgideon1 for the information.
