Is this real?

The other day I sent one of my accounts on bitshares -- @steemstars-gtc 93 STEEM in bitshares tokens. I won't go into why I did that but how I was able to do it was a powerdown of my steem account. The reason this is so exciting for me is that it is solidifying a dream I have.

Many of you likely know this but I live primarily on Ontario Works, which is Ontario's answer to welfare. I do also work a part time job where I put in somewhere around twelve hours a week this brings in the extra money I need to pay bills and rent, which I keep fairly minimal.

I am not saying all of this as a sob story, I am well aware that my wok in life is of my choosing. I am doing this so that I can become self-sufficient.

I am grateful for the tools that are at my disposal and I am 100% sure that there are many worse off then me. However to be involved in this community and to be able to carve my place here and know that my work is of value...

I don't really think I can express my gratitude clearly enough to do it justice. Both in-terms of this community and in-terms of this platform, as well as to the cryptocommunity as a whole.
