So yesterday i was grateful for my Dad's health. Today being #gratitudeday7, i am not just grateful for the impact of this personality in my life but i truly want to celebrate her for being there in all seasons.
When i used to fall ill At a young age, she was always there staying awake all through the night to ensure she monitors my temperature and call for the Nurses attention if need be. I remembered the looks on her face when i had a surgical operation many years ago. She taught she would lose me but i survived it. I guess part of the reasons God has kept me is to also be able to take care of her and honour.
Oh! I was so stubborn when i was young, but she still believed the best of me. There is no doubt she is also grateful for how i have turned out.
I am grateful for this woman of courage, substance and awesome heart. She is my MOTHER. My very first LoVE. My Dad understands Better how awesome this woman is and owes his being alive and healthy today to her love and care.
Let me shock you. She was able to instill discipline in 8 solid children and non of them turned out bad. She is indeed a superwoman and deserves the very best life has to offer.
She deserves more than accolades, cause she has paid her dues in excess.
Mum, i am grateful for you in my life.
I will honour her continually so my days may be long. That's the principle that works.
What is Gratitudeday?
Gratitudeday is all about being thankful for the things that are happening in your life. Birthed by @tojukaka. According to him: "A lot of us go through life taking things for granted. The goal is to challenge you to make a blog post about something you are grateful for. It could be big or small. It doesn't matter. Little things matter. I'll be doing this for 62 days (62 is not a random number). It's not an endurance game, you can join in anytime you want and opt out anytime you want."
