Gratitude day 6

Today I am grateful for opportunities. Nothing can come to fruition without there being an opportunity for it to happen. Opportunities are the vehicles which convey people to success and greatness.
I was born in a small town. I have lived in that suburb town my whole life. I pretty much saw the same thing everyday. I did the same thing everyday. And heard the same thing everyday.
At a very early age, immersed myself in books. The one thing that I am forever grateful to my father for is that he helped groom my reading skills,thereby making me an avid reader. Every new need had a new book, new words and new information. Slowly, I began to see that there was a world bigger than the one I was in. I have still retained my interests in books. I average around 2 books per week.

I delved into that story because one cannot recognize what one does not know. I am grateful that my knowledge of life and it's workings were broadened at a very early age. This simple thing has made me discover who I really am, what I want and possible ways to get there.

Life is full of opportunities. And even though I I have had my fair share of missed opportunities through negligence and complacence, I am grateful for the ones I have made good use of.
So yes, today I am grateful for the numerous opportunities that that have graced my path to Success till this time. I am immensely grateful for the people who have also given me good words of advice up till now.

At the start of my journey, it was a young presenter who gave me my first opportunity and persuaded me to not let my gift die. And then there was My Mentor Mrs Chiadi who personally enrolled me in a broadcasting training program. Over the years, there have been a lot of people who have pointed me in the right direction towards opportunities and others who actually brought opportunities my way.
I am especially grateful to @samstickkz who always helps me look at things logically, and ensures no opportunity goes to waste.
I am also grateful to @tojukaka for this opportunity to officially dedicate some minutes for gratitude everyday.
