Just yesterday I was opportune to watch one British romantic movie called Me Before you, as I was watching it, I felt I really needed to be grateful for my eyes. If only I was blind, there would be a lot of things I won't be able to do. I won't go to the conventional schools like others and probably won't be on Steemit.
Although the movie I watched wasn't about someone falling in love with a blind person, rather the movie made me see reason why I should be grateful for eyes to watch such a beautiful movie.
This movie was all about a man full of life, had accident and got paralysed and battling with his ailing health then fell in love with a poor, local girl hired to take care of him. He felt he wasn't living his life to the fullest and can't afford to live a life where he'll be a burden to people around him and wanted out through euthanasia as agreed with His parents.
At first he was on palliative sedation for some months just to make his parents happy after which euthanasia process was applied just as he wanted. This movie brought me down to tears. I don't know if this is a true life story but I know there are people out there who go through worst things than this. And I felt for once I should be grateful for my eyes.
