Hello steemians,
What a day it had been for me and a friend of mine. Together we were preparing for the children's day celebration.
We had a lot to do today because of the time we have in our hands.
We prepared some snacks for the celebration and it was so tiring.
We had planned for a 100 children in church and the places we would pay some visits like the motherless babies home.
Cupcakes, stickky bons, cookies and plain cakes were made today.
The whole day was spent for going in and out of the oven with one item or the other.
My gratitude is for the strength to accomplish all we were able to do today. All the mixing and neading of the pastries and dough was not an easy one. I did not even have the time for food today till evening. Anything for our precious ones to have a memorable day is our delight.
The only setback was my phone which fell and was damaged. I had already given it to the repairer to fix it so I can use it because I cannot even receive nor make calls.
I am grateful that this years celebration will be a pleasant one for our kids as we all will be going out to party.
I guess I will stop here today to save some strength for tomorrows activities in preparation for children's day.
