Spent most part of my day at the Hospital today. My son was quite down, running temperature. At my hospital, before administering any medication, test must be run and that's what delayed us for so long in the hospital.
I was in a haste and was just hoping in my mind that the doctor just give him malaria medication, but she didn't and insisted test be run.
(waiting as wife goes to sign for test)
The results came and to my surprise, No malaria parasite was found. He was treated for bacteria infection; perhaps. He got it from school.
I am grateful for diagnosing him right, and treating him effectively based on the results.
No one should take this for granted. One of my family was treated for the wrong illness some years back and it cost her losing her "sight" uptill now, she doesn't see.
Kindly ensure no doctor treat you nor your family by guess work.
Well, he has started his medication and he is doing better now. Infact, he is so active now you won't believe anything happened to him.
Praise be to God for divine intervention. I am more than grateful for this. Because its difficult and painful not to understand what kids are going through because they can't express themselves well yet.
I am grateful for my boss who gave me permission to be able to go to the hospital with my wife and kid.
I am grateful for God's healing hand on my son.
What is Gratitudeday?
Gratitudeday is all about being thankful for the things that are happening in your life. Birthed by @tojukaka. According to him: "A lot of us go through life taking things for granted. The goal is to challenge you to make a blog post about something you are grateful for. It could be big or small. It doesn't matter. Little things matter. I'll be doing this for 62 days (62 is not a random number). It's not an endurance game, you can join in anytime you want and opt out anytime you want."
