GRATITUDE DAY 18: GRATEFUL FOR SOUND HEALTH

in gratitudeday18 •  7 years ago

It's already the 18th day of #gratitudeday with @tojukaka. How time flies! Today, I thought about my life and how I've stayed up so sound for a very long time. The last time I was hospitalised was when I was 8 years old of which I was involved in a road accident.

The only sickness that usually get me is Malaria which as usual occurs once in a year and I'm praying I out-grow it soon. I rarely experience headache and most people think I'm lying about that but that's the truth.

I've never had to go running from one hospital to another seeking for help. Most times we don't seem to appreciate good health feeling it's a normal thing. I was privileged to go to the hospital sometime last week to visit my roommate aunt who went through brain surgery.

Just then, I felt the need to thank God for my life. The lady with brain issue just after she had a baby some months ago and she's suffering from brain issues which got her husband running helter-skelter just to raise 7 million.

I felt good health should be a normal thing until I started visiting hospitals. Going to the hospital makes you count yourself lucky and grateful.

Thanks for stopping by!
