Hello Friends...
Today it is celebrated in several countries of the world, among them, Venezuela, Father's Day, and today I want to begin my 39th day of the 62 day challenge of #gratitudeday initiated by @tojukaka, thanking God for the joy I had of having the Best father in the world ... Yes, I know it sounds pretentious, but that's how I feel and believe it.
My father was an exceptional man, because throughout his life he set a good example, even before becoming a father, because for a man to be a good father, he has to be a good human being, and my father was . He was a good son, good brother, good friend and very good husband; so when he had to be a father, he was more than trained and trained.
My father's name was Juan de Dios Rodríguez Morales and I can't talk about him, without first telling them how he met my mother and how they both formed the beautiful home where I grew up and formed. My parents are from a city called Barquisimeto, located in the center west of Venezuela, they did not know each other or had any friends in common, but one day my father got the wrong bus and took a different route than he used to do to his house and It was then that two stops after he got on the bus, my mother, Perlina Alvarez, also went up and my dad was shot. It was so much the impression that my mother produced in him, that my father, days later decided to climb the same bus route in the hope of seeing again that girl who had impressed him, and he did so for several days until the She found, and this time, without wasting time, she introduced herself and asked that I allow her to accompany her to her stop, which my mother agreed to, since she also noticed him from that first day that my father mistakenly got on the bus .
This story doesn't know how many times I had my parents tell me again and again, because it seemed to me, and it still seems so romantic that I made it part of my personal history..
My parents in their first years of marriage and then in their 60 years of marriage
Today here in Venezuela, Father's Day is celebrated, and although I feel a lot of nostalgia and I miss my parents so much, today I want to thank God for allowing me the joy of having the father I had. I am grateful because he was mainly a God fearing man and a good witness, he was hardworking, respectful, loving, fighter, visionary and guided us on the path of righteousness, inculcating the ethical, moral and spiritual values and principles that have enabled us to achieve success, not because we are famous or wealthy, but because he taught us to value valuable moments as a family.
