Gratitude Day 43: Recovered Password

in gratitudeday43 •  6 years ago

The joy of recovering a lost item is greater than the pain of losing it.

Due to my previous phone which was stolen by armed robbers, I lost a lot of things.

One of which is a password to a wallet I had saved my funds.

I couldn't remember the password I used in registering for that wallet and I had some funds in there.

All efforts to recover this password seemed abortive as I was told it couldn't be recovered since I didn't set up a recovery system.

My bad.... 🤦🏻‍♀

I decided to move on and forget about the funds even though it was painful.

Yesterday, I was just reminiscing how lovely it would have been to actually recover those funds and a password just came to mind like a flash and I immediately made to enter it.

Alas, it worked and I saw my funds sitting gently in the wallet.

I couldn't be happier and I couldn't wish for a better day either.

Today, being the 43rd Day of @tojukaka's gratitude day challenge, I choose to be grateful for recovering my password.

What are you grateful for?

My name is Juliet Israel and I am grateful

Cheers ✌

WOW! Upvoted and resteeemd! glad to push this up over $1 ! Very happy to hear people just remembering things they need,m and I feel it has to do with confidence. When we are feeling good you would be surprised hwo easy we can remember these old passwords! When we stress ourselves we have less and less of a chance. Also we should ALL be using Pen, paper AND LASTPASS https://lastpass.com with MULTIFACTOR and an EMERGENCY contact person who can recover your account if you have no access within 30 days etc and we shuld not just be keeping passwords in our brains, we should be holding backups not just for ourselves but our family

Yeah
I learned that lesson
Not to keep password in my brain
I used to do that a lot.
Thanks so much for pushing this up.
I appreciate you.

I can relate to that feeling you will certainly be having now. You will certainly feel the urge to scream and jump. Lol!

make sure your family has a way to get your crypto if you pass away God forbid, but make a plan make sure that you don't leave them with a bunch of crypto that they cannot access, make sure that they are able to get access to your stacks so it doesnt go to waste!

But hey good to hear about this! VEry nice!

You should mak e Dlive post about it! :D EDlive nbow has an App for android did yousee? Its Very exciting! the first video app for the steem blockchain actually! (Well I gfuess @zappl technically was first ;) @thedegensloth beat em to it with his Zappl App's video feature! HGEY I bety Degen could actually usemy idea of getting a simple 3d filter effect like to imitate snapchat or instagrama nd their 3d glasses or masks or toungues with face trackin, we can skip all that and just do a simple filter that make sit simply rain Bitcoins overlayed over the video nothing fancy, OR if u can do a simpel face tracker we csan have BiTCOIN sungl;asses with bitcoin logosin the eyes, or just make a giant steem logo float in the middle of teh screen maybe slowly rtotate, allowing us to position it somewher, and i swear a few simple but fun 3d objectys verl;ayed on the video can be very fun and if theyr are unique peope will like them NBETTR Than sdnapchat and instagram!

Hmmn
Now that you talk about video
I think I'm gonna have to try it.
Thanks a lot @ackza
