Big Ben - Great Bell

Did you know that Big Ben is actually the nickname of the Great Bell inside the Elizabeth Tower? Whichever name you know it by, the tower is the cultural icon of London and is one of the world’s most famous tourist attractions. Big Ben is also famous for its reliability – since its completion in 1859, the tower has only had one major breakdown.
