Greedy Dog

There lived a dog in a village. He used to go from house to house in search of food. He used to get enough food from the village itself. Still he wandered from one village to another in search of food. The reason for the dog's wandering here and there was that it was greedy. One day the dog went towards the city in search of food. Showed him a hotel in the city. At first the dog looked here and there. Then reached the door of the hotel. The dog found a piece of bone. He pressed the piece of bone in his mouth and started walking towards the village. There was a river between the village and the city. The dog now reached near the river. While crossing the river, he saw his reflection in the water of the river. He thought that there was another dog there and it might snatch his bone too. He opened his mouth to bark. A piece of his bone fell into the water and the piece of bone was swept away in the flow of the river. The dog did not get anything. From this story we learn that greed is a bad thing and we should not be too greedy.
