Great effort by my Packers last night, and despite the fact that without Rodgers they were by far the worse team, they showed a lot of character being in that game. It's sad that fatal errors by McCarthy, specifically being uber conservative in play calling in the 3rd and 4th quarters resulting in 3 and outs (and getting clobbered in time of possession) and most importantly being foolishly over aggressive by attempting to have Crosby kick a 57 yard FG when the longest EVER kicked in November there was 53 yards. Jeez.
His coaching and play calling mojo needs to be put on the back of a milk carton as it's been missing for a few years. The worst part is that he defended the decision. There is no defence. Up 7 in a game that your team is playing well in, just punt and pin them. Don't be a moron and risk a miss and giving up excellent near-midfield field position to one of the most potent offences in the NFL.
I miss having Rodgers pilot the team, but that loss is on McCarthy. Hundley played great!
5-6... looking bleak...
