I would defend with Freedom of Speech (and Write), but legal is as full of holes as gridcoin source.
Also I suggest to save this wbepage (File->Save page as) to save the poor lawyer from copy-typing the text from your screenshot image.

    Been saving every comment and every edit too.

    FoS doesn't include the right to accuse innocent people of being criminals. That's defamation.

    I've also just learned they've sent some absolutely shocking emails to some professional colleagues in the BOINC community.

    They are behaving quite abhorrently.
