Gridcoinstats Update - Steemit Feeds Now Working!steemCreated with Sketch.

in gridcoinstats •  7 years ago

To all #Gridcoin Community Members

Since way to long the Gridcoinstats Explorer hasn't been able to retrieve and view updates from the community that was posted on Steemit. This has now been fixed.

Everything that is posted in the #gridcoin tag as well as any of the active projects (without spaces) is promoted on the page.

The page now utilizes the SteemJs libraries, and will fetch the data directly from your active machine. So far it seems to be working very well, but if any issues would arise that seems suspected please don't hesitate to open an issue about the problem on the GridcoinStats Issue Tracker.

Enjoy, and Boinc On!

Wow finally. This was broken for a long time. Thank you @startail for still working on the best #gridcoin explorer!

Thanks. I know and I wish to keep making it better. I've finally been able to set up a good working development routine and environment for making changes.

Hoping to deliver more good updates in the coming months

Hi! @sc-steemit, I don't know about Gridcoin. Can you please drop some links that will help me know more? Thanks.

I can help you out with that, here are a few links:
gridcoin.us
gridcoin.science
whatisgridcoin.com

Thank you, I appreciate your help.

the whitelist on gridcoin.science is missing a project and is not current , odd because he bitched to get it whitelisted opposed to what the community actually voted on and where they actually filled out an application from ( maybe we should include IP address of project to make sure for future a projects 1 off doesn't get forced when a whale whines especially when it all comes out in the wash , little guppies too ) do not forget the following...
https://gridcoin.network
https://grcexplorer.neuralminer.io
and the very much handy and useful http://gridcoin.ch especially his faucet!
along with although still in beta https://gridcoins.org !

If you are referring to ODLK I think it was correct to vote ODLK1 in instead of the Russian version so more people can read up on it? And gridcoin.science is lacking behind in the whitelist when "someone" gave the operator a whole lot else to handle.

Have a nice day. :)

Yeah , I can relate the news section had been broken since October like me! Unfortunately as I just saw this post and clicked the News link to check and see sections of current posts its just your sites text/font and the categories and sections are blank and the news is empty so you may want to take another look at that unfortunately , and I hope this post gets yours attention as you know I try to contact you any time there is an error/mistake even typo and annoy the hell out of you! :) but its always been in good jest to help out , literally the only news feeds working is from the Boinc projects.. Hope you can get it sorted soon , honestly I prefer to use your site vs coming here let alone having an account , although cant up-vote posts from there and help people earn something extra for their posts I guess.

The steem posts is fetched by JS in your current browser. It may be an issue there?

I know that community posts aren't working on Edge, but works in Firefox. Single category posts, like for gridcoinstats or gridcoin, should work.

I'll see if I can add some code to make it easier to debug issues related to this.
