Ingredients:
- 1 ripe pineapple
- 1/4 cup honey
- 2 tablespoons lime juice
- 1 teaspoon lime zest
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon (optional)
- Pinch of salt
- Fresh mint leaves for garnish (optional)
Instructions:
Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.
In a small bowl, mix together the honey, lime juice, lime zest, ground cinnamon (if using), and a pinch of salt. This will be your glaze.
Peel the pineapple and slice it into rings, about 1/2 inch thick. Remove the core from each slice.
Brush both sides of the pineapple slices with the honey lime glaze.
Place the pineapple slices on the preheated grill. Cook for 3–4 minutes on each side, or until grill marks form and the pineapple is heated through.
Remove the grilled pineapple from the grill and place it on a serving platter.
Drizzle any remaining glaze over the grilled pineapple slices.
Garnish with fresh mint leaves if desired.
Serve immediately as a delicious side dish or dessert.
