PT XL Axiata Tbk (XL) will be a serious contender for Telkomsel in serving outside Java market in 2018.
The war drum to compete outside Java has been beaten by this Axiata subsidiary by allocating 60% of capital expenditure (capex) of Rp 7 trillion in 2018 for development outside Java.
"If our friends see us already present in 360 cities, we are aiming this year at 400 districts to sub-districts where mostly outside of Java," said Xess Independent Director Yessie Dianty Yosetya when public exposure in Jakarta, Friday (9/3) .
