The Little Goat

in growingup •  7 years ago  (edited)

Once there was a little goat,
With a reflection of anguish on its face and a sweet coat.

He escaped from home to find Neverland
But totally forgot to take his pocket lamp

There was full moon at that night, quiet scary for a kid
So he thought about that horrible werewolf myth

While walking down the river, suddenly the water started to shimmer
“Who is there?” asked the goat, with a terrifying shiver.

The mysterious shimmer would not reply
As scared as it was, the little goat therefore had to cry.

The wind just blow passing its ears
So the goat thought,” I have to be strong and handle my fears!”

Through the valley into the woods
He was walking and walking even ignoring how he looks

Then he heard a noise, as the weather was getting colder
He turned around slowly looking upon his shoulder

There were red eyes glowing in the dark behind a bush, surrounding the goat with fear
Big feet underneath, dirty and bluish plush whispering “come near!”

Forgetting the fear it was surrounded with, it took a step and another one
As he got nearer he saw, that it was the albino rabbit, john

Standing in front of him,” I saw you in my dream” the little goat said
And all of a sudden john turned into a horrible zombie rat

The goats face turned pale, it couldn’t move and its body froze
That was the moment where the writer thought, “fortunately I didn’t write this story in prose”

Back to the story and the fact that the goat was very scared and alone
The landscape suddenly changed and the goat was at home

He saw that there was no zombie rat, but his mom
Realizing that it was a nightmare, he was again calm

He realized that there was no point in trying to find Neverland, in order not to grow up
Which does not mean that this is a hopeless case but,

The answer is that everyone is getting older
Which makes you also stronger and taller

In order not to lose the child in you
You must know that Neverland will be forever in you,too

There is one simple thing you have to do, so
Just don’t ever let it go…
