Proposal ~ Steemin our Way Into Inspirered Creative Education

in growth-proposal •  8 years ago

Mission:

This proposal is aimed at engaing schools on an international level to partake in the steemit project by means of hosting a writing competition with rewards for the catogory winners as well as a contribution towards the schools of the winners. This wil enchourage multiple young writers as well as their schools and their supporters therein to create steemit accounts, create awareness and grant great exposure of Steemit.

Summary:

In a world where young talent is rarely noticed and even more seldom acknowledged, leading to learners with great talent to often sweep suck wonderous gifts under the rug. My proposal is designed to create a ripple in this pond of creative stagnation by means of engaging schools and universities at various levels to partake in a creative writeoff that will host an array of catagories such as poetry and short stories subcatogorised by selcted apropriate topics (we can also look at adding visual arts categories such as photography and art expositions). The schools, universities and students will be motivated by set rewards directed at the winning writers and/or artists as well as a contribution to the schools/universities of the winners that can be used to the educational institution and scholars bennifit. This will give steemit great exposure as well as a fresh generation of users not only limited to scholars but also their kin as well as teachers, with the bennifit of egniteing a lasting creative lust umungst the participants.

Challenges:

  • Encouraging new Steemit users
  • Exploring uninspired talent
  • Organisation of entries
  • Marketing of project
  • Curation of entries

Solutions:

Encouraging new Steemit users

This proposal will attract numerous new Steemit account users and grant us the possibility of great exposure for additional continued growth

Exploring uninspired talent

This is also a great tool to create a need for students to explore their creative talents as well as the realisation that there is a community such as Steemit that is willing to support such talents on a long term basis with granted remuneration therefor. Learning institutions will be eager to motivate students due to the rewards of the competition yielding rewards that can be used for the institutions benefit as well as the cranium bragging rights of their students talents and with the knowledge that they will be embracing talents in these learners that would otherwise more than likely remain undeveloped. The students on the other hand will be driven initially by the reward and love for writing and just like the rest of us here in the Steemit world, end up staying for the community.

Organisation of entries:

This can very easily be managed by the structures that has already been put into place within the Steemit site such as the use of category tags

Marketing of project

Here I propose that Learning institutions be sent a formal invitation inviting them to participate. This can be done by contacting regional departments of education, or alternatively different regions in different countries can be divided amongst willing participating parties in the Steemit community from where they will contact the schools listed in their district, and correspond feedback to a communal panel.

Curation of entries

Steemit community involvement is key here, as it is with the marketing of this project. A selected panel of involved Steemit community members will be needed to curate the initial entries leading to the entries being thinned out, where after the final say will remain the votes of our Steemit community as a whole.

Cost:

Other than the (unspecified as yet) prize money, this project will cost merely time and effort that will be repaid with a great sense of accomplishment and that warm hearted feeling of knowing that you did something really amazing!

Thank you ever so much for your time, I sincerely hope that you will give this proposal some thought

Now that's inspired inspiration right there! Thank you for the vote of confidence!

thanks for god inläg

:D

Very interesting idea. I can see a lot of school districts being wary about having student work posted on a permanent block chain, though. But broaching the subject is worth a shot.
