So although it's a few weeks old,
The old GTO has been a few places since she's landed in the states three years ago now. Unfortunately, most of the time has been spent being broke or awaiting repair.
Since the last official installment, she's received a new heart (Scroggin Dickey LS3 with 24 tooth relucter) ,LS9 cam, 0821 heads, the same Kooks 1-7/8" headers she has had for years now. Drivetrain hasn't changed much though since I last posted. The transmission was rebuilt by Bill Boudreau of ZF Doc out of Arizona. A much needed repair after my run in with the F430 Scuderia in Italy (see original post link).
We've been as far as Vegas in the GTO (more to come on that later.) We didn't get a "we were here photo",but we did get one at the Hoover Dam. Hopefully,as time allows we can start bringing you guys the same quiality post we always have.
Plans for the GTO are a Boost District LSA kit or a ProCharger (whichever comes first). A GForce 1320 Engineering 9" kit and to have Bill at ZF Doc upgrade the trans again. All in time and money allowing of course. At the same time a mini tub and rear shock relocation kit. If I'm lucky,I may even be able to make it one color again too !
It sounds a bit daunting, but as you know the GTO and it's travels have never been easy.
