In most places comic books are fiction open them up and they'll take you to these colorful worlds where evil villains are always foiled
by mask-wearing superheroes with unearthly powers but it's a trip you take knowing that it's a fantasy that the heroes are only real on the pages
that's not exactly the case in Mexico the world of lucha libre this the high-flying form of Mexican wrestling is as close as the limitations of human existence allow us to get to the world
of comic books Luchadors aren't just wrestlers in mexico they're heroes they fly through the air they battle the villains and okay so he's a chicken just released to the PlayStation Network and
playable on the ps3 and Vita I guess you could call guacamelee a comic book in motion I'd go with a side-scrolling luchador documentary but I don't know I feel like they tamed it down a bit
either way this is a great game inspired both by Mexican culture and a nerd culture and believe me lo super hermanos that's just the beginning hey de donde eres Senor link oh perhaps the forest
maybe the planet zebus the speaking of metroid that influence runs throughout the game wakame lays an action platformer based heavily on the metroidvania template playing as one
the powerful luchador to explore a nonlinear map packed with unique levels as you search for El Presidente's daughter and as is the case when you're hunting down Metroid's found a lot of
areas you can't access at least not yet now we're walking melee sets itself apart is its emphasis on combat I mean it is about a luchador so the crux of the gameplay is wrestling you can attack
enemies with an array of punches a lot most side-scrolling beat'em ups but once you get the enemy stunned that's when the game really shows its hand from there you can toss them suplex them even
piledrive them the lake drops though rather so the combats of blast you can build up huge combos with all these different moves but guacamelee actually has another central gameplay element see
one can switch between two worlds that of the living and that of the Dead and this really comes into play when exploring backtracking walls and enemies in one worlds argon in the other which
makes for some awesome platformer guacamelee does just about everything right the classic gameplay inspirations the gorgeous graphics this title is a pun sure it could be a bit longer but
especially given the format it just doesn't get much better than this it's not only one of the best
PSN games out there it's one of the best downloadable games out there take quieto of me amigo you had me at guacameleem.
