In the photo, Left side is a sculpture of Sri Hanuman of India and right side is a sculpture of the "Monkey God" called Howler of the ancient Mayan civilization, and was discovered in the Mayan ruins at Copan in Honduras, a republic in Central America.
This sculpture is around 1500 years old. It is also interesting to note that Howler is also associated to the Wind God.
Another statue which looks like Hanuman again, and is called 'Wilka Huemana' measuring 50 feet tall 12 feet wide was discovered in nearby Guatemala.
According to Vedas, Puranas, Ramayana and other ancient Indian text, Hanuman is known as Pawan Putra Hanuman, The son of the Lord of the Winds.
