So last week I was super jealous and wanted post something myself, so here we have a translated Guilty Pleasure Dutch song! This song is by Bloem and is called Even aan mijn moeder vragenwhich translates into something like I will ask my mom.

I will ask my mom

Blonde hair, blue eyes,
Crawled from a fairy tale.
She stood in front go my window,
“A ticket for five gulden,
For the movie of tonight,”
I asked her,
“Why don’t you go with me?”
And this is what she said

“I will ask my mom,”
I swear she said that,
She wasn’t even smiling.
“I will ask my mom,”
That’s so outdated, girl
You can ask me things too.

She looked at me,
And it was done,
As of then,
Everything for a kiss.

You don’t run into that often,
A girl like that deserves everything.
I thought it was extinct,
but I have a date for tomorrow.
She has to be home before twelve,
But I don’t care,
