Brook Guitars is based in Devon, UK. This is a Tamar model in European spruce and walnut and has a 690mm scale length. It was a wonderful guitar to have in my collection but I sold it to make way for my Heiner Dreizehnter, which is my favourite guitar so I guess I let it go for the right reasons. I do often wish that I still had it though.
The walnut is simply gorgeous and the tone was exquisite. I play a lot in low tunings, often in CGDGAD so the extra scale length let me tune it down and keep a nice string tension. It's not quite a baritone at 690mm, at least I wouldn't say so - it's equivalent to 27 inches, which is SCGC Brozman territory.

Here are two audio samples of the guitar -- these are MP3 files hosted on my Wordpress blog.
