For one New Black gun owners don't have to change they way they interact with law enforcement as much from when they were unarmed because just being black means you have a gun to law enforcement so they are used to the rigamarole already.
New White Gun owners know if somebody shoots them their will be consequences in court leading them to waive the gun in everyone's face with near impunity(very unsafe)
New black gun owners more often than not have a less than rosy view of obama, especially these days
and therefore often end up having alot in common with the police they encounter.also with the recent targeted police assassinations police are starting to realize how dangerous it is to be a hated minority in america based on the worst of you doing the worst things while wearing your colors. and constantly being asked to denounce those "bad apples" as if you knew them personally.
