Hackers broke in Grozio Chirurgija, a cosmetic surgery clinic and stole about 25,000 private photographs including nude photographs as well as personal information.
The deputy chief of Lithuania’s criminal police bureau Andzejus Raginskis told reporters about a group of hackers called Tsar Team. They broke into the servers of the Grozio Chirurgija clinic earlier this year and demanded a ransom of more than half a million dollars not to leak information of customers from Germany, Denmark, England and other European countries. But the clinic refused to pay the ransom and afterward, the hackers leaked private information and nude photographs onto the Dark Web.

The dark webb, in spite of both utopics and vitrial criticis, needs to be seen as what it is. A tool that can be used, either for greatness or for great harm.
In the same spirit, we as CoAgorists need to take a look at all of these systems that we are are taking part in creating and shaping right now: Steem, Bitshares, EOS, Hero, etc. We need too make sure we design them in such a manner that we can foster and keep justice.

Guess this is not the first time where private servers were hacked and sensitive information has been stolen. Some companies are still ignorant of the threat of hackers and are not willing to spend on proper firewalls and network infra. Instead they rather face the circumstances of paying lawyers so much more and also let their reputation go down the drain. Good for you to share this @zeroshiki . I do feel sorry for the victims ...
