New ways for hackers to steal your data every single day - this time it is about PennyWise.

Today I published an article about a crypto hacking method called PennyWise. This isn't a 100% official name, but it is most likely the name this hack will receive. The way it operates is quite simple and it is spreading through YouTube videos.

You do not get infected by watching videos, but if you follow the instructions of the different videos, you will get infected. But, how can a hacker make you install some malware on your device? After all, that is the requirement for this PennyWise hack to be installed on your device.

In the different YouTube videos, you will be encouraged to install some program that will help you mine cryptocurrencies on your computer. In other words, you need to install this program to get rich and to enjoy passive income. But, instead of earning passive income, you will give the hacker access to your device and he/she will be able to access information about your browser, and your extensions, and they can even create screenshots of your activities and see conversations you have both in Telegram and on Discord.

If you combine all this information, you will quickly be in danger of having your data stolen unless you have additional layers of security.

It is very easy to avoid this, because you only need to use common sense and not install programs from unknown sources, and never install or open files or links unless you 100% trust them.

This is normal procedure, and if you do like that, you will be safe, not only against PennyWise, but also against other similar hacks and spyware threats that will try to get at you in the future.
