I wrote a post a two weeks ago about Steemit having an issue and one a week ago Steemit issue and another one 4 days ago and here I am writing about it again this is getting old , I have been on Steemit since almost the beginning and the lack of being able to have a team of support people is getting old. Any reputable website has a support team and a team of people who fix issues. Why does Steemit not have this?
I have read in Steemit chat and in other post that Steemit does have a team of devs to solve problems. If this is true , why has these issues been going on for almost 3 weeks now?
These problems have been going on for almost three weeks , I know I am not the only one having these problems , if you are experiencing any of these problems and want to be heard and want an explanation PLEASE UP VOTE THIS POST AND LEAVE A COMMENT , none of the devs or anyone working for Steemit are going to see it unless it gets into trending.
This has to be killing new users , If I was a new user I would not be here very long , who wants to post on a website that you have to post your stuff 2-6 times before the website excepts it , and the site is so slow sometimes it takes up to a minute or more to take my upvote , then again sometime it does not take it at all. This is complete BS , I mean you really think Steemit will ever compete with Reddit or Facebook , with it being run like this. Do you think Reddit or Facebook would have let these problems go on for more then 24 hours.
I will be posting this everyday until , I get an explanation on what is going on and the problems are fixed.
I have also had issues posting. I’ve lost several posts and given up trying to post through the website. I am only posting through esteem until this is resolved

Usually Microsoft Edge but sometimes Firefox. Used to be fine but it’s happening loads recently. I may carry using chrome and see if that helps.

this is good to know.. just to say i haven't had issues posting or commenting except a couple of times when we had downtime due to DOS. .. but i can see there are issues for some of us!

I have to post each post 2-6 time before it is posted to steemit. com . What browser are you using? Are you posting through steemit.com or somewhere like busy.org

i am on Steemit.com using Chrome on a mac. .. MAYBE its due to the location or something.. I'm in India so that might have something to do with it..

Hey @halo same here also experiencing these problems with the site it, seems like the real problem is the team are working on the site which is causing this to happen if this is really the cause I would rather they update the site less so its functional most of the time, but I know many would rather have updates.

If that is the problem they should at least let people know. Do a post on @steemitdev or @steemitblog or pin it to the top of the page. All of these problems started when the Submit a Story button was changed to Post or something else they change on the day they changed that. But , then again the day after that they announced a DDOS attack and things have never been the same. BTW it took me 8 tries to post this reply and 6 tries to get my post posted this morning.

Yea I think they should do a post to let us know that they are aware and on their progress on fixing the site. Indeed I noticed the problem after that darn post button changed and then there was the attack so its hard to pin point what exactly caused the issue. And dont I know it! I pressed the upvote button 6 times for it to register your upvote @halo phew!
