Ugh, so it's the first day and I already missed posting the first Letter for the Lord post on time, but I did do it yesterday. I guess I was tired from staying up late on New Year's.
Anyway, the first verse is John 1:1. I used the ESV version and it is perfect for the beginning of the New Year. It is encouraging to read that God was always there and will be. He is in control and he is the one that can give us peace in this uncertainty we're living in.
