Buttons is our dog, and the store mascot. We conceived of the Button's Bin concept by noticing that when Buttons ran around the backyard, he sometimes brought back something in his mouth and squirreled it away under the outside back stairs.
We didn't pay it very much attention. Until we cleaned underneath the stairs. We found six little separate piles; some of sticks (almost all the same size), some of walnuts that had fallen from our tree (all green with intact shell coverings and of the same size), some of the kids' little toys (some old action figures and plastic trucks), etc., etc. All in separate little, eclectic groupings. You get the idea. We thought that was just sooo weird. And unique. So.......Button's Bin was born.
