The lost sheep: There is more happiness in heaven because of one sinner who turns to God than over 99 good people who don't need to

Jesus in the Gospel of Luke teaches us the parable of the lost sheep, Jesus is the good shepherd who gives his life for the sheep: "I am the good shepherd; I know my sheep and my sheep know me - just as the Father knows me and I know the Father - and I lay down my life for the sheep.", John 10:14-15.
Jesus with this story seeks to teach us the importance of mercy (kindness, gentleness, compassion) and repentance, and it must be understood in the context of the parables of mercy, that is, together with the parable of the lost coin (Luke 15:8-10) and the prodigal son (Luke 15:11-32). The path of sin is an inherently painful and empty path, that is why conversion, when it is genuine, fills us with joy: "Godly sorrow brings repentance that leads to salvation and leaves no regret, but worldly sorrow brings death.", 2 Corinthians 7:10.
The kingdom of God is a call to life and good sense, Jesus as the spiritual leader does not want anyone to get lost on the path of life, the good shepherd knows all the sheep by his own name and by his good love when one is lost that is the most important sheep:
"Now the tax collectors and sinners were all gathering around to hear Jesus. But the Pharisees and the teachers of the law muttered, ´This man welcomes sinners and eats with them.´
Then Jesus told them this parable: ´Suppose one of you has a hundred sheep and loses one of them. Doesn't he leave the ninety-nine in the open country and go after the lost sheep until he finds it? And when he finds it, he joyfully puts it on his shoulders and goes home. Then he calls his friends and neighbors together and says, ´Rejoice with me; I have found my lost sheep.´ Jesus said, ´In the same way there is more happiness in heaven because of one sinner who turns to God than over 99 good people who don't need to.´´", Luke 15:1-7.
