Many people are committed to doing what they think will make them happy, but in my opinion it is precisely here that they are wrong.
Happiness is not linked to what you do, but to how you are. Happiness is linked to the way you relate to existence.
If you allow yourself to be present at the moment, and to appreciate what the present moment is capable of offering you, happiness will come as a natural consequence.
When you're in the moment, put everything in that instant, because it's the only one you can really live. The past and the future are only projections back or forward of your mind: the only moment that is given to you to live is only the present one, here and now.
It doesn't matter what you do, it counts as you're present at the moment, it counts what you're in the instant, it matters if you really allow yourself to dedicate your whole person to what you're doing.
In this way happiness will be linked to your way of being, to how you set yourself against reality regardless of what you are doing.
Happiness does not lie in doing things that will lead us towards a goal; happiness lies in dedicating ourselves all of ourselves to the person or activity before us, giving us the joy of tasting the beauty and uniqueness that every moment is able to give us.
Yes, you are right! Carpe diem! We are always busy. We focus always unimportant things. But life goes on. Happiness isn't so far. Thanks for sharing..
