The happiest person is a child.
You'll be hard-pressed to find a happier person in the world than a child, and there's a science to back it up too.
Cognitive scientist, Daniel Gilbert, says that children possess "a sort of happiness set point.
We are born with an innate tendency to be happy or unhappy."
This he concludes is because childhood is about finding novelty in small things, such as getting new teddy bears or wearing mismatched socks for the first time.
Children have fewer setbacks and don't yet understand what they're missing out on so they lead relatively carefree lives and we can all stand to take some cues from them!
